Our team arrives at your location around 8:30 a.m. each day to begin your flooring project. We’ll greet you, walk you through the application process, and answer any questions you may have. Our fully equipped trailers carry all the tools and materials needed to ensure your flooring project is completed flawlessly.

The preparation phase is critical to the success of your flooring project. We use advanced diamond grinders along with a self-contained vacuum system to create a strong mechanical bond with the concrete. Our crew will assess the concrete’s density and select the proper diamond blades for optimal grinding. 

We then grind the entire surface, opening up the material to ensure the coating adheres properly. We also grind down edges with hand grinders to ensure a flawless finish. 

During this process, our vacuum is collecting any dust or debris from the surface to ensure a clean workspace. 

Hairline cracks and minor damage are common in concrete floors. We use a diamond cutting wheel to open cracks, then fill them with a polyurea filler or mortar, which cures in about 25 minutes. 

The floor is then smoothed, ensuring all imperfections are addressed. 

After grinding, we vacuum thoroughly to remove any dust or debris.

Next, we apply a pigmented adhesive base coat, which forms the foundation for the topcoat. 

In most cases, we will use an epoxy base coat with a polyaspartic top coat. This system is available in both a 1 day and 2 day installation. The timing will depend on the size of your floor and will be discussed during your consultation. 

This is where the real transformation begins. 

For flake floors, one crew member will apply the base coat, while another broadcasts the vinyl flakes across the surface. We apply three times the amount of flakes needed for full coverage, ensuring a flawless finish. 

The floor requires about 60 minutes to cure before we remove the excess flakes. 

Afterward, we scrape the surface to smooth out any standing flakes and vacuum to remove dust.

For metallic floors, the decorative layer is where the magic happens, creating a stunning, one-of-a-kind look. 

After the base coat is fully cured, our team applies the decorative layer, which is designed to create depth, movement, and a unique visual effect that mimics the appearance of polished marble, waves, or a molten metal surface.

Our crew uses a combination of troweling and brushing techniques to ensure the metallic epoxy flows evenly, allowing the colors to blend and shift in mesmerizing patterns as they cure. 

The result is a vibrant, high-gloss finish with a deep, dynamic look that’s truly one of a kind.

Finally, we apply a durable, clear polyaspartic topcoat to seal in the base and flakes. Our crew uses a squeegee to spread the topcoat evenly, ensuring a smooth, thick layer for a consistent, long-lasting finish. Curing times for the topcoat are as follows:

• 12 hours for light foot traffic
• 24 hours for regular use
• 48 hours before returning items to the area
• 96 hours before regular vehicle traffic can resume

After the application is complete and the floor has cured, we clean the site and load up our equipment.
